Spill Prevention, Control, & Countermeasure (SPCC)

Spill Prevention, Control, & Countermeasure (SPCC)

Shield partners with clients to maintain compliance with the EPA’s Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Rule. Facilities housing above- or below-ground oil storage in excess of 1,320 or 42,000 gallons respectively are required to comply with federal EPA guidelines.

Shield’s professional engineers are highly trained and experienced in interpreting the EPA’s guidelines, 40 CFR §112, and its modifications to prepare an SPCC plan that fits your facility. In addition to a plan, Shield is able to provide assistance in the design and implementation of any structural changes or management practices required by inspections or audits, useful in employee training, and necessary for proper records.
